Obituary of Juanita Andrea VanHoogstrate

Funeral Services for Juanita Andrea VanHoogstrate of Winfield, MO will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.  Fr. Richard Rath, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe, MO, will officiate.

           
Mrs. VanHoogstrate, 66, passed away Sunday morning, August 26, 2018 at her home.  Born June 26, 1952 in San Antonio, TX, she was the daughter of Andrew and Juanita Cook Moreno.  Andrea was united marriage on June 23, 1973 in San Antonio to David Paul VanHoogstrate.  This union was blessed with five daughters: Jennifer, Valerie, Karla, Lisa and Carrie.  Andrea worked as a pit attendant for Harrah’s Casino, retiring in 2006.

           
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Juanita Moreno.

           
Survivors include her beloved husband of 45 years, David VanHoogstrate; their daughters: Jennifer Haas and her husband, Scott, of Winfield, Valerie VanHoogstrate of O’Fallon, MO, Karla Bean and her husband, Robert, of Wildwood, MO, Lisa VanHoogstrate of Winfield and Carrie VanHoogstrate of Buffalo, NY; one grandson, Ethan Bean; and several furry grandkids.  Andrea also leaves three brothers: Andrew Mansolo and his companion, Phyllis Raur, of Hot Springs, AR, Lonnie Mansolo and his wife, Cookie, of Boerne, TX and Robert Ricando of Culver City, CA; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

           
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
