Carter Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Alma Annie Hutton Funeral services for Alma Annie Hutton of Troy, MO (formerly of Old Monroe, MO) were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2006 at Carter Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Robert Vincent, pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Troy, MO, officiated with burial in Highland Prairie Cemetery near Old Monroe. Serving as pallbearers were Erin Lindsey, Chris Lindsey, Brian Hutton, Scott Hutton, Sam Martin and Vernon Jordan. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Harding, Dexter Harding, Frank Harding, Jr. Jim Dickmeyer, Melvin Robertson, Jeff Frances and Mike Haney. Mrs. Hutton, 91, died early Tuesday morning, May 30, 2006 at Troy Manor in Troy, MO. Born November 8, 1914 in Winfield, MO, she was the daughter of the Edward Jackson and Anne Sophia Dixon Kitson. She was united in marriage on March 12, 1949 in Hillsboro, MO to Hewitt Hutton. This union was blessed with three children: Delores, Barbara and John. She was employed for several years as a seamstress at Angelica Garment Factory in Winfield. She was a member of the Winfield First Baptist in Winfield, MO. She was former volunteer at the Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Anne Kitson; four sisters: Nina Elizabeth Tayon, infant sister, Hester, Rosie Bell Gravens and Maggie Kitson; three brothers: Champ Clark Kitson, Thomas Edward Kitson and William Henry Kitson; and her beloved husband of 39 years, Hewitt Hutton, who passed away January 3, 1988. Survivors include two daughters: Delores Ackerman and her husband, Chuck, of Troy and Barbara Wykoff of Troy; one son, John Hutton and his wife, Doris of Winfield, MO; five grandchildren: Brian and Scott Hutton, Chris and Erin Lindsey, and Cindi Mudd; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2006 at Carter Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
