Obituary of Terry Lee Presley

Private Family Graveside Services for Terry Lee Presley of Hillsboro, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Wilson Cemetery in Batchtown, IL.  J. Larry Carter of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO will officiate.  Serving as pallbearers will be James Presley, Gary Presley, Frank Presley, Clayton Clarkson, William Clarkson, Ron Sokol and Josh Bowman.
 

Mr. Presley, 78, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 17, 2018 at his home.  Born September 9, 1939 in Winfield, he was the son of Delmar Isaac and Ada Lucille Tayon Presley.  Terry was united in marriage on July 2, 1960 in Winfield to Sheryl A. Jones.  This union was blessed with three children: Theresa, Cecilia and Frank.  Terry was employed as a Pipefitter for Haberberger, retiring in 2001.  He was a member of the Pipefitters Union Local #562 in St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar and Ada Presley; and one sister, Rita Upton.

           
Survivors include his beloved wife of nearly 58 years, Sheryl Presley of Hillsboro, MO; their children: Theresa Weiss and her husband, Ronald, of Hillsboro, MO, Cecilia Clarkson of Affton, MO and Frank Presley of Byrns Mill, MO; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Terry also leaves two brothers: Gary Presley and his wife, Charlene, of Washington, MO and James Presley and his wife, Jonel, of St. Peters, MO; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
