Obituary of Rex Allen McEntire

Funeral Services for Rex Allen McEntire of Kirkland, IN will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO.  Burial will follow in the Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield.
 

Rex, 53, passed away Tuesday night, May 8, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, IN after an illness and courageous fight.  Born November 24, 1964 in Troy, MO, he was the son of William Charles and Patricia Ann Skinner McEntire.  Rex was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Centralia, MO.  He was a member of the 1984 graduating class of Centralia High School.  During his life, Rex was employed in a variety of businesses, the last being in maintenance at Zachary Chocolates in Frankfort, IN.
 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia McEntire.

Survivors include his father, Bill McEntire; brother, Chuck McEntire; sisters: Bonnie Hinds and Susan McEntire; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.  Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home , 3838 East Highway 47, P.O.
