Obituary of Paula Marie Jones

Funeral Services for Paula Marie “Polly” Arens Jones of St. Charles, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO.  Fr. Richard Rath, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe, MO, will officiate with burial in the Elsberry City Cemetery near Elsberry, MO. 
 

Ms. Jones, 74, passed away Monday morning, April 23, 2018 at Frontier Nursing Home in St. Charles.  Born February 3, 1944 in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Lawrence Burton and Theresa Elizabeth Hogan Arens.  She was employed as a CNA at Bellfountain Neighbors Nursing Home.  She also worked as a Mary Kay Consultant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry Arens and Betty Engler; two brothers: Lawrence and Ronnie Arens; and her former husband and companion of many years, Robert E. Jones, Jr.
 

Survivors include her children: Katherine Busalachi-Quezada and her husband, Manuel, of St. Charles, James Phillip Busalachi and his wife, Rhonda, of Emory, TX and William Vernon Hayes, III and his wife, Jennifer, of Forney, TX; eight grandchildren: Krista McHenry, Amanda Crawford and her husband, Bryan, Michael McHenry, Chris LyBrand and his wife, Heather, Ben LyBrand; and Brian, Anna and Emily Hayes; and six great-grandchildren: Aiden and Landrey Cox, Austin Christianson, Addison McHenry, and Cayson and Hazel LyBrand.  Paula also leaves three sisters: Margaret “Peggy” Mudd of Breckenridge, MO, Patricia Piper and her husband, Joe, of St. Peters, MO and Paula Dusenberg of Wright City, MO; three brothers: Dewayne Arens and his wife, Karen, of Troy, MO, Jerry Arens of Rosebud, MO, and Rusty Arens and his wife, Becky, of Jonesburg, MO; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
 

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.  Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri (or) St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home , 3838 East Highway 47, P.O.
