Obituary of Paul John Haas

 

Graveside Services for Paul John Haas of Old Monroe, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield, MO.  J. Larry Carter of Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes will officiate.
 

Mr. Haas, 80, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 27, 2018 at SSM St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, MO.  Born December 28, 1937 in Mascoutah, IL, he was the son of Paul John and Olivia Nores Haas.  Paul graduated from school in Mascoutah.  He served our country in the United States Army Reserves.  Paul was united in marriage on June 21, 1958 in Mascoutah to Judith Lee Lebeque.  This union was blessed with five sons: Steve, Michael, Mark, Gregory and David.  Paul worked as a Machinist and Tool & Dye Inspector for McDonnell Aircraft for over 30 years.
 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Olivia Haas; one brother, Fred Haas; and his beloved wife of 54 years, Judith Haas, who died December 30, 2012.
 

Survivors include his sons: Steve Haas and his wife, Laurie, of Foristell, MO, Michael Haas residing in Thailand, Mark Haas of Jacksonville, IL, Gregory Haas and his wife, Lori, of Mechanicsburg, PA and David Haas and his wife, Pam, of Wentzville, MO; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.  Paul also leaves one sister, Theory Cameron of Mascoutah; other relatives and friends.
