Prayers to the family at this difficult time. Phil was such a great guy. I didn’t get to see him often but when I did, he would always make sure to come up and speak to me like there was no loss of communication. Say hi to dad for me Phil!

Uncle Earl and Aunt Betty, I'm so sorry for your loss. Phil was a very good man who was always ready to help my mom and dad whenever he could. After dad passed away mom would tell me all the time how Phil would drive up to check in on her and see if she needed anything. If it was a load of firewood, a bag of tomatoes from his garden, or bringing some fish from a fish fry he was thinking of others. He will be missed! We'll be praying for you guys, the girls, and their families.

Earl, Betty, Lynn & Ellen Words cannot express the sadness we are feeling over the loss of Phil. We have so many wonderful memories of him that make us laugh.. To hear Phil, Ronny and Tony Bauer talk about their trip to Mexico 30 years ago can still make a person laugh until their stomach hurts. Those guys would go on for hours and hours about different things that happened to them. He was a wonderful person who would do anything for you and will be missed by all.

I, Martha Behle, know Phil through the activity of Euchre, he is very dear to me. I am shocked as I am certain you are. I enjoyed him, argued with him, and will give him the credit of my love of the game of Euchre. May God ease the pain and the sorrow that his loved ones are experiencing, God is taking care of my heart ache right now and I am certain I will experience more sudden hurt when certain occasions happen in my life that just suddenly remind me of Phil, since the shocking news I have had many such events happen in the last 24 hours.
