Obituary of Terry Dale Davis

Funeral Services for Terry Dale Davis of Elsberry, MO will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.  Abby Hall of Smith Chapel near Elsberry will officiate.

Mr. Davis, 75, passed away Sunday morning, February 25, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur, MO.  Born November 5, 1942 in Louisiana, MO, he was the son of Raymond Terry and Alberta Mae Skirvin Davis.  Terry was united in marriage on September 27, 1962 in the New Hope Community near Elsberry, MO to Rosemary Rotha LaBanca. He was employed by Galloway Bros as a laborer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Alberta Davis; his brother, Berry Davis; his son, Dale Wayne Davis; twin great-grandsons; and his beloved wife of 51 years, Rosemary Davis, who died August 20, 2013.

Survivors include two granddaughters: Katie Lynn Davis of St. Louis, MO and Teri Dale Huck and her husband, Zach, of Columbia, MO; and two great-grandsons: Omar and Lorenzo Davis.  Terry also leaves his brother-in-law, Paul LaBanca and his wife, Kathy, of Elsberry; sisters-in-law: Janet Lee and her husband, Charles of Iowa and Audie Hensiek and her husband, Ben, of Troy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.  Memorials may be made to the Elsberry Health Care Center in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home; 107 S. 5th Street; Elsberry, MO 63343.
