Obituary of Harold Weaver

Graveside Services for Harold Weaver of O’Fallon, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.  J. Larry Carter of Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes will officiate.
 

Mr. Weaver, 85, passed away early Saturday morning, January 27, 2018 at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur, MO.  Born March 11, 1932 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Edward Derwin and Elsie Silber Weaver.  Harold was united in marriage on June 28, 1952 in St. Louis to Dorothyjean Viola Zink.  This union was blessed with two children: Harold Charles and Kimberly.  Harold served his country in the United States Army from September 2, 1952 until he was honorably discharged on September 1, 1954.  He worked as a supervisor for skilled trades at General Motors, retiring in 1992.  Harold had a love for anything Western and served as a Horse Show Judge for several years.
 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Elsie Weaver; his brother, Edward Weaver; and his beloved wife, Dorothyjean Weaver, who died June 12, 1999.
 

Survivors include his children: Harold “Rusty” Weaver and his wife, Lerin, of Mesa, AZ and Kimberly Springer and her husband, Ken, of Old Monroe, MO; four grandchildren: Chris Weaver and his wife, Kelly, Kevin Weaver, Anthony Springer and Kirsten Springer; and two great-grandchildren: Lily Weaver and Kamden Frantz.  Harold also leaves many other relatives and friends.
