Obituary of James Bruce Wallace

Graveside Services for James Bruce Wallace of Foley, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018 at Asbury Cemetery near Foley, MO. Brenda Linton of Troy, MO will officiate. Mr. Wallace, 80, passed away Saturday morning, January 20, 2018 at his home near Foley. Born July 3, 1937 near Foley, he was the son of Thomas C. and Clerette Hammack Wallace. He was united in marriage in May, 1958 in New Hope, MO to Mary Jane Davis. This union was blessed with three children: Paul Bruce, Diana and Cindy. Jim was employed as a machinist at Watlow Electric for 20 years, then worked in shipping at Leonard's Metals for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Clerette Wallace; his brother-in-law, Ronnie Baker and his sister-in-law, Judy Shields. Survivors include his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, Mary Jane Wallace of Foley; their children: Paul Bruce Wallace of Troy, MO, Dianna Bueneman and her fiancé, Lantz Sharp, of Lake St. Louis, MO, and Cindy Burbach and her husband, Chris, of Troy; and three grandchildren: Ben Bueneman, Lorelai Burbach and Liam Burbach. Jim also leaves one sister: Mary Ellen Baker of Troy; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
