Obituary of William Allen Byram

Memorial Services for William Allen “Bill” Byram of Winfield, MO will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. 

Bill, 47, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at his home.  Born April 22, 1970 Chester, IL, he was the son of Edward T. Byram and Nancy C. McCullough Byram.  Bill was a graduate of Rankin Technical School.  He worked as an electrician for Vi-Jon Manufacturing.  Bill began volunteering with the Winfield-Foley Fire Protection District in 2004 as Assistant Chief and Fire Marshall.  He served as the Fire Chief from 2008-2012.  He was the owner of Brushy Creek Farms.  Bill enjoyed taking care of vegetables and fruit trees.

    
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Ed Cochran.

Survivors include his parents, Nancy Cochran of Percy, IL and Edward Byram of Murphysboro, IL; and one sister, Nicole Amenn and her husband, Chris, of St. Louis, MO.  Bill also leaves his maternal grandmother, Lois McCullough of Boise, ID; one niece, Ainsley C. Amenn of St. Louis; other relatives and friends.
