Obituary of Charles Franklin Pratt

Graveside Services for Charles Franklin Pratt of Elsberry, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Elsberry City Cemetery near Elsberry.  Donnie Kinsler will officiate.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jordan Gladney, Matthew Rubendall, Christopher Pratt, Randy Rice, Dan Lambert, Jeff Ivy and Bill Anderson.  David Davis will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Mr. Pratt, 62, passed away Sunday morning, October 15, 2017 at his home near Elsberry.  Born February 9, 1955 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Charles Clifford and Serena Yvonne Lilley Pratt.  He was a 1973 graduate of Elsberry High School. Charlie worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation as a Heavy Equipment Operator for many years and was currently working as a carpenter.

Survivors include his children: Erica Gladney and her husband, Jordan, Nicole Pratt, Serena “Sera” Rubendall and her husband, Matthew, Bonne Pratt, all of Elsberry and Christopher Pratt and his wife, Rachel, of Wentzville, MO; and six grandchildren: Brayden Hammontree, Eli Gladney, Makenzie Gladney, Jaylynn Pratt, Elin Gladney and Cyrus Gladney.  Charlie also leaves his parents, Charles and Serena Pratt of Elsberry; his sister, Marcia Lambert and her husband, Dan, of Elsberry; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.  Memorials may be made to the Family of Charles Pratt in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 S. 5th Street; Elsberry, MO 63343.
