Obituary of Gregory Alan Willis
Funeral Services for Gregory Alan Willis of Winfield, MO will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Dr. Mark Hoehner, pastor of the Chapel of the Cross Church in St. Peters, MO, will officiate. Full Military Honors will be held immediately prior to Funeral Services at 6:45 p.m..
Mr. Willis, 55, passed away Sunday morning, August 20, 2017 in Warrenton, MO. Born November 15, 1961 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Francis L. and Dorothy Mae Ford Willis. Greg was a 1980 graduate of Francis Howell High School. He served his country in the United States Army. Greg worked as a sheet metal fabricator for Leonard’s Metal and Victor Pipe & Steel. Greg loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and country rock music. He was a collector of killer whale and eagle items.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Willis; one daughter, Amber Daniel; and one brother-in-law, Ross Waltrip.
Survivors include two daughters: Miranda Willis of Winfield and Jamie Davis and her husband, Austin, of St. Charles, MO; and five grandchildren. Greg also leaves his mother, Dorothy Willis of St. Peters, MO; three brothers: Mike Willis of Cape Girardeau, Doug Willis and his wife, Patricia, of Wentzville, MO and Steven Willis and his wife, Shellie, of Baxter, TN; one sister, Lisa Waltrip of Warrenton, MO; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Military Honors at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
