Obituary of Jane Doris Lindner
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jane Doris Lindner of Old Monroe, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe. Fr. Richard Rath, church pastor, will officiate with burial in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Jackson, Tim Wilson, Steve Kettner, Michael Arras, Richard Shaw, Dennis Schomaker and Michael Shoptaugh.
Mrs. Lindner, 90, passed away Tuesday morning, August 8, 2017 at SSM St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis, MO. Born October 8, 1926 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of William and Rose Parr Meinhardt. Jane was a graduate of St. John Baptist High School in St. Louis. She worked as a real estate clerk for Boatman’s Bank, retiring in 1991. She was united in marriage on August 28, 1981 in St. Louis to Paul James Lindner. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rose Meinhardt; one brother, William C. Meinhardt; and her twin sister, Sister Vera Meinhardt, a nun with Precious Blood in O’Fallon, MO.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Paul J. Lindner of Old Monroe; her children: Robert Tucker of Ballwin, MO, Janet Wilson and her husband, Tim, of Florissant, MO, Mary Ann Kettner and her husband, Steve, of High Ridge, MO, Susan Arras and her husband, Michael, of St. Louis, David Tucker and his wife, Christine, of Ebensburg, PA, Joan Shaw and her husband, Richard, of Grover, MO, Shirley Schomaker and her husband, Dennis, of Sunset Hills, MO, Donna Shoptaugh and her husband, Michael, of Hillsboro, MO and Jane Jackson and her husband, Lee, of DeSoto, MO. Jane also leaves her stepchildren: David Lindner and his wife, Carol, of Warrenton, MO, Anna, Jean, and Barbara; one brother, Donald Meinhardt and his wife, Jimmie, of St. Louis; 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO and again from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Immaculate Conception.
