Carter Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Louise Catherine Boedeker A Mass of Christian Burial for Louise Catherine Boedeker of Elsberry, MO, were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry, MO. Fr. Joe Nassal, Mrs. Boedeker's nephew, of Liberty, MO, officiated with a burial in the Elsberry City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were her grandchildren: Michael, Alex, Todd, Brad, Ashleigh and Austin Boedeker and Becky and Grant Toellner. Mrs. Boedeker, 82, died early Tuesday morning, April 11, 2006 at the Elsberry Healthcare Center in Elsberry, MO. Born May 19, 1923 in Bridgeton, MO, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Anna Moser Nassal. She was a graduate of Pattonville High School. She was united in marriage on June 22, 1946 in Bridgeton, MO to Harold Boedeker. This union was blessed with four children: Bev, Jim, John and Bill. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joe and Anna Nassal. Survivors include her beloved husband of almost 60 years, Harold Boedeker; one daughter, Bev Toellner and her husband, Mel, of Mexico, MO; three sons: Jim Boedeker and his wife, Wendy, of Elsberry, John Boedeker and his wife, Thelma, of Elsberry and Bill Boedeker and his wife, Lisa, of Troy, MO; one brother, Joe Nassal and his wife, Doris, of Florissant, MO; eight grandchildren: Michael, Alex, Todd and Brad Boedeker all of Elsberry, Ashleigh and Austin Boedeker of Troy, MO and Becky and Grant Toellner of Mexico, MO; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry, MO.
