Obituary of Marsha Jayne Grillo

Funeral Services for Marsha Jayne Grillo of Winfield, MO will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Richard Pillers, pastor of the Elsberry Assembly of God Church in Elsberry, MO, will officiate. Ms. Grillo, 60, passed away Monday morning, March 6, 2017 at her home. Born August 3, 1956 in Huron, SD, she was the daughter of Marshall Andrew and Mary Elizabeth Dailey Porter. Marsha worked as a software engineer consultant for AON Corporation. She was preceded in death by her father, Marshall Porter; and her step-father, William Cockrell. Survivors include her children: Elizabeth “Lizzy” Windes of Winfield, and Jacob Willis and his wife, Tawny, of O’Fallon, MO; four grandchildren; and her mother, Mary Cockrell, of Florissant, MO. Marsha also leaves one brother, Larry Porter and his wife, Elizabeth, of Winfield; two sisters: June Dowd and her husband, Bob, of Florissant and Linda Owen and her husband, Jack, of Montgomery City, MO; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
