Obituary of Patsy Diane Aubuchon

Funeral Services for Patsy Diane Aubuchon of Winfield, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Mike Ryan, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Winfield and Roger Jefferson, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Allen White, Keith Aubuchon, Monty Jones, Dustin Petry, Josh Aubuchon, Kevin Jelinek, and Damian Whitman. Honorary pallbearers are Donna Fay “Puddy” Petry, Julie Dowell Prinster and Ruby Hawks Jelinek. Mrs. Aubuchon, 58, passed away late Monday morning, January 2, 2017 at her home. Born October 30, 1958 in St. Louis, MO, she was the youngest of eight children born to Charles Lindsey and Lucille Mabel Rogers Yates. Patsy was united in marriage on April 17, 1989 in St. Peters, MO to Donald Robert “Donnie” Aubuchon. She worked as a hairstylist at Fantastic Sam’s. Patsy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lucille Yates; one brother, Thomas William Yates; and two sisters: Betty Mae Willis and Linda L. Wilcher. Survivors include her beloved husband of 27 years, Donnie Aubuchon of Winfield; her daughter, Jennifer Goodwin of Douglas, GA; son, Jeremiah Bertels of St. Charles, MO; stepdaughter, Lisa Marie Rice and her husband, Shannon, of Hot Springs, AR; stepsons: Adam Aubuchon and Cory Aubuchon, both of Hot Springs; four grandsons, seven granddaughters, five step-grandsons and six step-granddaughters. Patsy also leaves two brothers: Bill Yates and his wife, Joann, of O’Fallon, MO and Don L. Yates of Winfield; two sisters: Delores Jean Bufford and her husband, Greg, of Elsberry, MO and Elaine Kay McAllister and her husband, Jeffrey, of Winfield; her best friends since childhood, Donna Faye “Puddy” Petry and Julie Dowell Prinster; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
