Stan & Tony & I were neighbors in Montpelier 1950-1960, and daily played together, and hung out together. After Stan graduated, I lost contact with him, until recently finding him on Facebook. I frequently thought of him, and remembered many good times together, especially the forts, and snowball fights in the yard next to his house. My deepest sympathy to the family, and prayers for comfort at this difficult time. God Bless You!

Stan was not just my Father-in-law, he was my encourager, supporter, and my stand in Dad. I lost my Dad 15 years ago in May. Stan was the first person at our house sharing hugs, and tears. He told me I was not without a Dad, because he was my Dad too. Those words have always provided peace and comfort to me. I have watched my kids grow up with a Grandpa who has showered more LOVE on them than anyone could. He encourages them to strive for the best in life, and cheers them up with smiles, laughter, and really bad jokes when they are down. I am so very blessed to have married the mirror image of Stan. Chris is just like his Dad. Kind-hearted beyond measure. The hole that is left in our hearts will never be filled, but we know by the grace of God, we will see you again, Dad. I look forward to the day when I'm reunited with my savior and can once again HUG my two DADS!!! LOVE,LOVE,LOVE, your Daughter.
