Obituary of Victor Oscar Henningfeld
A Mass of Christian Burial for Victor “Vic” Oscar Henningfeld of Old Monroe, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe. Fr. Richard Rath, church pastor, will officiate with burial in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Kaimann, Ted Bayliss, David Henke, Jr., Cody Holmes, Spencer Buff and Chuck Maggard.
Mr. Henningfeld, 79, passed away Thursday evening, November 10, 2016 at his home. Born August 31, 1937 in Old Monroe, he was the son of Frank Andrew and Clara Waechter Henningfeld. Vic was united in marriage on February 27, 1960 in Old Monroe to Donna Jean Zalabak. This union was blessed with nine children: Vicki, David, Mary, Daniel, Dennis, Denise, Darin, Dwayne and Devin. Vic owned and operated Vic Printing for many years, retiring in 2006. He had a love for fishing, playing cards and piecing quilts. Vic was a lifelong member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Clara Henningfeld; one brother, Raymond Henningfeld; four sisters: Margaret Hemmer, Verona Vehige, Frances McMenamy and Louella Mennemeyer; two sons: David and Darrin Henningfeld; and his beloved wife of nearly 56 years, Donna Henningfeld, who died February 5, 2016.
Survivors include seven children: Vicki Kaimann and her husband, Wayne, of Silex, MO, Mary Tompkins and her husband, Calvin, of Middletown, MO, Daniel Henningfeld and his wife, Pam, of Old Monroe, Dennis Henningfeld of Old Monroe, Denise Hamilton and her husband, Gary, of Wentzville, MO, Dwayne Henningfeld and his wife, Rose, of Daytona, FL and Devin Henningfeld and his wife, Laura, of Bowling Green, MO; and his daughter-in-law, Bev. Vic also leaves eighteen grandchildren: Andrew Kaimann and his wife, Jordan, Jason Kaimann and his wife, Lynn, Becky Fuerst and her husband, Steve, Nicole Maggard and her husband, Chuck, Ashley Bayliss and her husband, Teddy, Linda Holmes and her husband, Cody, Dana Henningfeld and her friend, Tommy, Zach Mitchell and his wife, Kara, Emily Taylor, Kayla Shern and her husband, Dan, David Henke, Jr., Spencer Buff and his wife, Erica, D.J. Henningfeld, Ethan Henningfeld, Elijah Henningfeld, Emmett Henningfeld, Kelly Sumski and her husband, Brandon and Bradley Henningfeld and his wife, Jennifer; and fifteen great-grandchildren: Maverick, Andi, Conway, Hunter, Alaina, Mariah, Morgan, Hailey, Wyatt, Waylan, Alexus, Lily, Ellie, Lacey and Lydia.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2016 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association (or) Masses in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 3838 East Highway 47, P.O. Box 253, Winfield, MO 63389.
