Obituary of Richard Douglas Meyer

A private Memorial Service for Richard Douglas “Rick” Meyer of Moscow Mills, MO will be held this weekend at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Mike Ryan, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Winfield, will officiate. Rick, 29, passed away Saturday evening, September 3, 2016 at his home in Moscow Mills. Born April 16, 1987 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of David George and Diane Marie Epstein Meyer. Rick was employed as a security officer at a public housing complex. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Timothy Meyer on September 10, 2001. Survivors include his parents, David and Diane Meyer of Winfield; three brothers: Nicholas Meyer and his wife, Jennifer, of St. Louis, Matthew Meyer and Joseph Meyer, both of Winfield; and his sister, Sarah Meyer also of Winfield. He also leaves his fiancé, Amanda Massingil-Meyer of Moscow Mills; his paternal grandmother, Mary Meyer of Hazelwood, MO; his maternal grandmother, Rosetta Epstein of Wentzville, MO; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
