Obituary of Richard Biggs Russell

Richard Biggs Russell Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 pm Monday, June 6, 2016 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Mr. Russell, 63, passed away June 4, 2016 at his home near Winfield, MO. Born August 28, 1952 near Poplar Bluff, Mo he was the son of William Proctor Russell, Sr. and Rose Mae Spradling He served his country in the United States Army from September 1, 1972 until June 03, 1974. Richard was a carpenter at McDonnell-Douglas, later Boeing until retiring in 2011 He was preceded in death by his parents: William and Rose Russell and four brothers and sisters. His survivors include: his daughters: Frankie Porter, and her husband, Jesse, of Troy, MO; Chasity Russell of Winfield, Mo; and one son, Nicholas Russell of Winfield, MO; four grandchildren: Deliah Rose, Clayton Michael, Kaydence Ray and Kearstin Lynn. Richard also leaves his sister, Dena Powers, and her husband Robert of Poplar Bluff, Mo; two brothers: Bob Ward, and his wife Reatta, of Doniphan, MO; and William Russell, II, and his wife, Virginia, of Winfield, MO; and nieces, nephews and many friends.
