Rev. Garry McCracken, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiated the service. Mr. Roberts, 66, died Sunday, October 9, 2005 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, MO. Born May 15, 1939 in Decatur, IL, he was the son of the late William A. and Dorothy Mae Riber Roberts. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was united in marriage on August 23, 1970 to Sharon Louise Brandes. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Trinity Lutheran Church in Troy, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Roberts; and one son, James Anthony "Tony" Roberts on February 12, 1999. Survivors include his beloved wife of 35 years, Sharon Roberts of Winfield; one son, Michael W. Roberts and his wife, Brenda, of Grand Junction, CO; two daughters: Paula Reed and her husband, Ty, of Craig, CO and Teresa Mack and her husband, Tracy, of Meeker, CO; four sisters: Shirley Carlson and her husband, Ken, of Lakeside, CA, Beverly Roberts and her partner, Kay, of Lakeside, CA, Dorothy Corrales and her husband, Ray, of Temecula, CA, and Karen Rauterkaus of Brighton, CO, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.
