So sorry to hear about Henry! I was one of the therapists that worked with him at home over the last few years. He had such a positive attitude and a hard worker! Definitely a memorable patient!

Our deepest sympathy in the loss of Henry Jo. He was a kind person and touched many lives. He would come pick me up to babysit when going out for the evening, and when working on rehabbing farmhouse...it doesn't seem that long ago. Prayers and Blessings to all of the family.

Henry Joe was a hard working gentle man that would always have time to listen or share stories. I always enjoyed the talks we had. I think he knew everyone in Old Monroe and Winfield or had a story about them. He will be missed by all that loved him.

Matt and Scott: Please accept my condolences. Your father was a fine man and I have fond memories of his kindness and humor. What comes to mind are the conversations and laughs with him at my grandparent's house, and the overnight on the Mississippi sand bar many years ago with the two of you, Brian, David, Ed and myself. It was quite the crew of rambunctious boys for Uncle Wayne, Aunt Phyllis and your parents to transport, corral and feed!
I regret that I cannot express my memories and sympathy in person, but please know you are in my prayers. I hope to see you again sometime soon.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Henry Joe. The last times I visited with him with my sisters Dorothy and Alice I was so impressed with his attitude and friendliness in spite of his health problems. What a great example he has been to me and I'm sure to so many others who where privileged to have know him. Praying for him at mass and thinking of him thorough out the day today I thought of him walking and talking with Jesus now, smiling that Henry Joe smile, and Jesus with His arm on his shoulder smiling back at him. Thank you Henry Joe. God Bless you.

Matt, Scott, Susan and families,
We just saw this and we are so saddened.
We loved Henry Jo so....Mike even called him from Mississippi when we
saw him on the news down here a few years ago.....He was the nicest, kindest
man. He was a big part of Mike's life and he will always be missed
Take care of each other and we all have so many good memories of the
ballpark days and the dairy farm.
Our deepest sympathy,
Mike and Veronica

Such a loss to the family, friends, and the community. Henry was a friend during school and after in my life. Such respect I have for him. Phyllis, Susan and Bob, I was closer to you than the rest of your family but my heart hurts for all of you and all that were lucky enough to know Henry and be a friend. God be with you.
