Obituary of Louis Robert Reed

A Graveside Service for Louis Robert Reed of Elsberry, MO will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Star Hope Cemetery near Elsberry. Rev. Kelly Hardcastle, pastor of Christ Centered Church in Troy, MO, will officiate. Mr. Reed, 67, passed away late Wednesday morning, March 9, 2016 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Born February 3, 1949 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Homer Louis and Ida Edna Summers Reed. Louis worked as a farm hand, mechanic and concrete truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Ida Reed; and one brother, Milton Reed. Survivors include two daughters: Ronelle Garrison of Elsberry and Michelle Reed of Bowling Green, MO; one son, Jason Reed and his wife, Jennifer, of Troy, MO; and ten grandchildren. Louis also leaves one brother, Michael Reed and his wife, Debbie, of Elsberry; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
