Obituary of Sheri Bohrer

Funeral Services for Sheri Bohrer of Paynesville, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Bob Norvel, pastor of the Annada Community Christian Church, will officiate with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be John Cocos, Jerry Reed, Isaac Meier, Joe Landrigan, Kevin Welch and Bob Orf. Ms. Bohrer, 59, passed away Thursday morning, December 17, 2015 at her home in Paynesville. Born October 30, 1956 in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of Jack and Betty Joan “Jo Ann” Bowles Sheridan. She was a 1975 graduate of Elsberry High School in Elsberry; and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. Sheri was employed for several years in the sales center at Forrest Keeling Nursery near Elsberry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Sheridan and Jo Ann Cooke; her brother, Mark Sheridan; her grandmother, Twinkie Bowles; and her son, Joshua Alexander Bohrer. Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Cocos and her husband, John, of Charlotte, NC; and two grandsons: Wade Cocos and Knox Cocos. She also leaves her step-father, Sam Cooke of Wilmington, NC; several nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2015 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
