Obituary of Carl Vincent Brune

Mr. Carl Vincent Brune, 64, passed away late Saturday night, October 31, 2015 at his home near Eolia, MO, where he had farmed for 37 years. Born October 26, 1951 in Richmond Heights, MO, he was the son of Vincent Henry and Lucille Rosemary Peine Brune. After high school, Carl was a self employed farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Lucille Brune; and one brother, Ronald Alvin Brune. Survivors include his significant other of 23 years, Linda McDowell, of Elsberry, MO; four brothers: Michael Brune of St. Joseph, MO, Robert "Joe" Brune of Wentzville, MO, Gene Brune of Wentzville and John Brune, also of Wentzville; and five sisters: Catherine Dalton of Wentzville, Rosie Bornhop of Warrenton, MO, Carol Haney of O'Fallon, MO, Sharon Smith of Wright City, MO and Mary Lou Merz of Lake St. Louis, MO. Carl also leaves numerous niece, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends. Per Carl’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
