Obituary of Lillie Virginia Kreitner

A Memorial Service for Lillie Virginia Kreitner of Troy, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Lillie, 94, passed away late Sunday night, May 24, 2015 at Troy Manor in Troy, where she had resided since December 2002. Born May 11, 1921 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Frank and Virginia (Hall) Kreitner. Lillie was a longtime member and Sunday School Teacher at Grace Hill Episcopal Church in St. Louis. She later became a member of St. Stephen Episcopal Church in Ferguson, MO. Lillie was very dedicated to her job at the Swifts Printing Company in St. Louis, where she worked for 48 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Virginia Kreitner; five brothers: Keith Kreitner and his wife, Dusty, Clyde Kreitner and his wife, Gloria, Charles Kreitner and his wives, Joan and Dee, Robert Kreitner and his wife, Doris and Harold Kreitner; and one sister, Laura Sutter. Lillie is survived by many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great, great-nieces and nephews and great, great, great-nieces and nephews and their families. Lillie also leaves her sister-in-law, Maryann Rowland of Lake St. Louis; her very dear and longtime friend, Mary Renner of St. Louis; numerous other relatives and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home.
