Obituary of Jacob Edward Roper

A Memorial Gathering for Jacob Edward Roper of Foley, MO will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. Jake, 23, died Thursday evening, April 16, 2015 as a result of an automobile accident near Elsberry. Born October 26, 1991 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Michelle Roper. He had worked for several years as a Nurses Aid for Troy Manor in Troy, MO. He is preceded by his mother Michelle Roper and a son, Peyton Edward Roper, who was stillborn in July of 2014. Survivors include his fiance, Tayler Ann George, of Foley; two daughters: Payge Michelle Roper of Annada, MO and Sophia Michelle Roper of Foley. He also leaves two brothers: Michael, and his wife, Jessica, Roper of St. Charles, MO, and Austin Roper of Troy; his step-father James Lindhorst, of Elsberry; and other relatives and friends.
