I am so sorry to hear about Vera. I did not know she passed away until Feb 24. I had talked to her about 10 days before at the Troy Manor where my sister is. I always enjoyed visiting with her. She and her husband had shopped with my husband when we ran Montgomery Ward Catalog store in Troy. We remained friends after that after we got into real estate. It does not look like she had children. To the family, she was a very active and nice person to know in the community. She will be missed.
