Obituary of Brett Alan Rogers

Brett A. Rogers A Memorial Services for Brett Alan Rogers of Eolia, MO will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2015 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Rev. Eloise Slaughter, pastor of Silex Assembly of God Church, will officiate. Inurnment will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Rogers, 50, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 in Troy, MO. Born May 10, 1964 in Troy, he was the son of Phillip Ray and Betty Anne Davis Rogers. He was a 1982 graduate of Elsberry High School in Elsberry, MO. Brett was recently employed as a forklift driver at Daddy Ray's Bakery in Moscow Mills, MO. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Rogers on February 2, 1983. Survivors include his mother, Betty Cohoon and her husband, Charles, of Eolia; two sons: Blake Aaron Rogers and his wife, Carly, of O'Fallon, MO, and Brett Aaron Rogers of Elsberry; one daughter, Brea Anne Rogers of Elsberry; and one grandson, Shane Rogers. He also leaves one sister, Ginger Scherrer of Eolia; two uncles: Thomas Vernon Rogers and his wife, Christine, of Clinton, MO, and Robert "Bob" Davis and his wife, Donna, of Eolia; several cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until time of the service at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2015 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
