Carter Ricks Funeral Homes Phone 573-898-2181 / Fax 573-898-3148 Newspaper Notice of Death Lenora Riffle Stull Funeral services for Lenora Riffle Stull of Silex, MO, were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at Foley Baptist Church near Foley, MO. Richard Turnbull of Foley, MO and Rev. John Armitstead, interim pastor of Foley Baptist Church officiated with burial in Corinth Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Dale Cannon, John Bronwich, John Herring, Fred Hecker, Darryl Briscoe, and Rick Sparks. Mrs. Stull, 88, died Saturday morning, October 29, 2005 at Silex Community Care in Silex, MO. Born October 20, 1917 in Lincoln County, MO, she was the daughter of the late Clem and Matilda Frances Knollhoff McQueen. She was united in marriage on November 5, 1933 in Elsberry, MO to Clinton Lavern Riffle. This union was blessed with one daughter, Betty. She was employed for several years as a seamstress for a clothing manufacturer. After 49 years of marriage, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Lavern Riffle, on December 6, 1982. Mrs. Stull was married again on October 5, 1991 to Ray Stull in Foley, MO. After almost 8 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on April 1, 1999. A lifelong member of Lincoln County, she was a member of the Foley Baptist Church and the Oklahoma City Chapter of DAR. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clem and Matilda McQueen; her first husband of 49 years, Clinton Riffle; her second husband of almost 8 years, Ray Stull; one brother, Carl McQueen who died in November 1993; and one sister, Mary Mauch who died in April 2005. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Briscoe and her husband, Larry, of Foley, MO; one grandson, Darryl Briscoe of St. Louis, MO; one granddaughter, Julie Sparks and her husband, Rick of St. Louis, MO; one great-granddaughter; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 12:00 p.m. until time of service November 1, 2005 at Foley Baptist Church near Foley.
