Obituary of Michael Wayne Moore

Michael Wayne Moore of Troy, MO passed away Thursday morning, January 30, 2014 at Troy Manor in Troy. Born November 8, 1951 in La Plata, MO, he was the son of Harold Austin and Evelyn Gertrude Ford Moore. Mr. Moore was a 1969 graduate of Elsberry High School. He worked as a security officer for St. Charles Security. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Evelyn Moore; one brother, Harold Ray Moore in 2003; and one son, Dennis McCafferty in 2009. Survivors include one daughter, Tori Dickherber of Troy; one son, Jodi McCafferty of Troy; and one grandson, Isiah. He also leaves one brother, Donald G. Moore of Troy; one sister, Carol F. Leckbee of Elsberry, MO; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2014 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
