Obituary of Pete Michael Tracy

Memorial Services for Pete Michael Tracy of Springfield, MO, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, Winfield, MO. J. Larry Carter of Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes will officiate with inurnment in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Pete, 36, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Born June 26, 1977 in St. Louis, MO, he attended Missouri State University for two years and received certification in Culinary Arts and Foods from Ozark Technical College. He worked as an Executive Chef at establishments in Springfield, most recently for Bruno's Restaurant. Pete enjoyed bike riding. Pete is survived by his parents, Paul and Betty (Zaehringer) Tracy of Foley, MO; his brother, Paul S. Tracy and his wife, Amy, of St. Peters, MO; his sister, Penny Studt and her husband, Mike, of Pacific, MO; and his niece Kaitlin Tracy. He also leaves behind many other relatives, great friends and co-workers. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon-4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
