Born June 21, 1930 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Augusta and Lizzei Nansel Kinzel. He was united in marriage on June 23, 1951 in Piggott, Arkansas, to Carolyn Jean Johnson. He worked as a factory worker for several years, until retiring July 1995. He was preceded in death by his parents, Augusta and Lizzie Kinzel; and one sister, Eleanor Sillman. Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Carolyn Johnson of Old Monroe; one son, Robert Kinzel, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; four daughters: Dianna Reinhardt and her husband, David, of Bokeelia, FL, Debbie Engelmeyer and her husband, Allen, of Moscow Mills, MO, Peggy Lavy of Old Monroe, MO, and Bobbi Jo Benson of Moscow Mills, MO; three brothers: John Kinzel of Riverside, CA, William Kinzel of St. Louis, MO, and Charles Kinzel of O'Fallon, MO; two sisters: Claire Brune of St. Louis, MO, and Delores Grzyb of Moscow Mills, MO; ten grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several other relatives and friends. Cremation was handled through Carter-Ricks Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 South Fifth Street, Elsberry, MO 63343.
