My fondest memory of Lewis.
A long time ago back when we were still kids, he and my dad were close friends enough so that they'd laugh and tell jokes sitting around the kitchen table for hours. It's a sad event having to say goodbye to such a good friend. Dad and Lewis were CB friends to. It was pretty common to hear them using their own CB language talking back and forth to each other on their CB's in their cars and at home. I'll never forget the random barbeques out at loud thunder and Gail's famous Potato salad and all our fun and fellowship. God Bless your family and give you comfort and peace. Love from us all in the Miller Family.

I remember so much of my grandparents always being there. Random BBQ, family get to-gethers, and everything. I remember when we lived with them in Bowling Green. I will always miss my grandpa, and I will always love you! You were always there for me to talk to, and I know much you cared about all of us. Grandpa, I'll miss you dearly, you have impacted my life so very much. Also, if anyone has any pictures of him, please send them to me.

TIME IS: Too slow for those who wait, Too swift for those who fear, Too long for those who grieve, Too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, TIME IS ETERNITY!!! Henry Van Dyke....
This poem sums it all up! Our Love will be forever Eternal for Lewis..

My most memorable memory of my grandfather was when we was working on the house on Murray Hill Drive and he sent me to the hardware store for a bastard file........that was the most awkward moment growing up

I remember when I was little grandpa would sit in front of his CB radio and talk to all of his buddies over the air. My most recent memory was right before he got to where he did not know me anymore. He had just went to the nursing home and my husband and I went with my dad to pick him up for an outing. When he saw me walk in his smile went from ear to ear. He tried to get up out of his chair. I'll never forget that smile. That was the last time I felt like he knew who I was and I will cherish that memory for the rest of my life.
