Obituary of Judith Ann Douglas

Funeral Services for Judith Ann Douglas of O'Fallon, MO, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Burial will be in Whispering Winds Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Justus, John Justus, Wayne Douglas, John Hagedorn, David Douglas and Rob Hagedorn. Mrs. Douglas, 67, passed away Friday morning, May 24, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Winfield. Born August 31, 1945 in Kennett, MO, she was the daughter of Walker and Iva P. Stark Johnson. She was united in marriage on August 10, 1979 in Granite City, IL to Terry Blaine Douglas. She worked as a manager for various restaurants, retiring in 1995. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walker and Iva Johnson; one brother, Edward Johnson; and one sister, Louise Risinger. Survivors include her beloved husband of 33 years, Terry Douglas of O'Fallon; one daughter, Sandra Kay Morris and her husband, John, of Winfield; two grandchildren: Joshua Justus and Jessica Justus-Gray; and three great-grandchildren: Tanner Justus, Kayley Justus and Carter Justus. She also leaves two brothers: W.A. Dub Johnson and his wife, Loita, of St. Louis, MO and Ken Johnson of AR; one sister, Marcel Kohn of Granite City; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
