Obituary of Geraldine Virginia Lee Kloepper

Funeral Services for Geraldine "Gerry" Virginia Lee Kloepper of Foley, MO, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. J. Larry Carter of Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes will officiate with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery near Elsberry. Mrs. Kloepper, 90, passed away late Wednesday morning, April 10, 2013 at Delmar Gardens in Fenton, MO. Born September 17, 1922 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Herbert and Lenora Murphy Gembe. She attended Normandy High School. She was united in marriage on January 15, 1949 in Fulton County, AR to Orlin John Henry Kloepper. She worked as an accounts payable clerk for Day Brite Lighting Company, retiring in 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Lenora Gembe; her faithful dog companion, Chance; and her beloved husband of 53 years, Orlin Kloepper on December 26, 2002. Survivors include her many dear friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
