Gary you were always the best looking guy at school. A little crazy but I still
liked you. Always having a great car even if it didn't have floor boards in the
back seat. Schultz's ice skating parties were fun because you had a car. I
remember you throwing out the window your fake liquor ID's. I was so
surprised anyone had those but you did. You were wild and always smiling and
I loved you very much. Being unique was a fascinating quality of yours. God
bless you and your family. You sure turned out good. All my love, Mo

While I never met Mr. Hudnall in person, he and I have corresponded about common ancestors as we have both worked to research our family history. We share relatives on his maternal grandmother's side of the family. I have appreciated our emails and sharing of photos with one another. I am sorry to read of his passing, and hope that his family will be comforted by the good memories that they have of him.

Gary was a regular customer at our restaurant. When he would come in with his buddy, Joe, they would make me laugh and my day was so much better. Always a smile on his face and he enjoyed life and especially his family. We loved hearing all of his stories about his family and how excited he was with the birth of each grandkid. He and Joe would always fight about who was paying the bill and they would put me in the middle of it. I came up with a solution. I wrote it on the calender in the office who paid last, so I would know. It was Gary's turn next. I pray for all of his friends and family during this time of sorrow, but the memories of Gary can never be taken away. Cherish those memories and I know my life was truly touched by him.

Diane Although we have only gotten to know the two of you these past couple of years during our visits on Marco Island, we know the love that you and Gary shared. We'll miss those times that we had together as couples.
I still think of Gary mostly in the context of our high school years. What a fun loving and happy guy!! All of us at the time--Dave, George, Russell and others just had a good time being with each other and enjoying the "moment". I think Gary was the most spontaneous, often coming up with the craziest things to do and getting us all to go along knowing that it would be fun. Those were some of the happiest times of my life, due largely to Gary. I still miss them!!
We remember Gary telling us the story of how his "bodyguard" led him to Christ and that they became great fishing buddies. Talk about "fishers of men"! We rejoice in knowing that Gary is now with Jesus and that we will be together again someday. We'll miss him here, but we'll be together for an eternity someday soon.
With love, Ed and Margaret

When I think of Uncle Gary I always think of him with a big smile on his face. He was always so kind and never said a bad thing about anyone. Even when he lost his beloved daughter Amy, he still was there to show love and support for everyone, even though his heart was breaking. You will be so missed and I am so happy that we had our family reunion last summer. Those memories will be cherished. I love you uncle Gary. RIP and give my love to all of our family. Love, Linda

Brothers are only a gift that our parents can give us,
Of all sad things we may endure, the saddest is saying "farewell brother".
Brothers may die but they live on in our heart and mind,
To have a brother is to have experienced a very special gift.
Gary was that special gift...."Farewell Brother"

Diane and Family,
We are so saddened by the loss of Gary Hudnall. He was certainly one of the Good Guys! He was a good husband, Daddy, PaPa, friend, worker and Servant of others. He loved his family more than anything! A golden heart stopped beating that day on this earth, but I am sure the bells of heaven were ringing full blast when he met our Lord and Savior and also his precious daughter, Amy. They are dancing down the streets of gold beyond the crystal sea. You have our sincere sympathy and we continue to lift your whole family in prayer during this sad, sad time. We love you......and God Bless. Love, Terry and Carolyn

I want to extend to the Hudnall family my sincere condolence for the loss of Gary. It just seems like yesterday when my dad, Gary and I would sit outside in the back yard on Sanderson Drive and share stories usually in the evening. I know how hard the loss of Amy was on Gary and the whole family. But God works in mysterious ways and the five grandchildren are most certainly a blessing. Although I have not seen him for years I could picture him sitting somewhere and enjoying a gathering with friends and family. I can not make it to the funeral but all of you will be in my thoughts this coming Monday and for many days in the future. Families just do not come any better than the family of Gary and Diane. God Bless all of you.
