Frank, Gary, Dave, and Sharon,
Gary and I were taken back to read about Mildred's passing. We did not know she was ill. She was such a lovely lady, always having a kind word for everyone. She was so proud of her grandchildren. At the family reunions she'd always have something good to say about one or more of the grandkids. She surely was a role model for all the family. She was very alive for 89 years old. You've had a precious gift to have your mother all these years. You will have many happy, funny and even quirky memories to fill those times when the missing is so prevalent. I hope her memorial service on Friday is a real celebration of her life.
We are unable to attend the wake. Thursday evening is our Fine Arts Festival at Pkwy South Middle. It is our annual fundraiser for the fine arts programs. You will all definitely be in our thoughts and prayers.
