Obituary of Albert Lee McClelland

Funeral Services for Albert Lee McClelland of Old Monroe, MO, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Mike Ryan, pastor of First Baptist Church of Winfield, will officiate with burial in Valhalla Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Goff, Darrell Goff, Ron Bicker, Doug Bagby and Rich Stone. Mr. McClelland, 83, passed away early Tuesday morning, January 15, 2013 at Elsberry Health Care Center near Elsberry, MO. Born May 23, 1929 in Windsor, MO he was the son of Henry Robert and Anna McClelland. He was united in marriage on August 22, 1962 in East St. Louis, MO to Yvettae Davis. He worked as an electrician for ITT Blackburn. He was a member of Winfield First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna McClelland; one daughter, Laura Ann Mitchell; and one sister, Tessie Erickson. Survivors include his beloved wife of 50 years, Yvettae McClelland of Old Monroe; one son, Danny McClelland of Lake Ozark, MO; two daughters: Marietta Townsend and her husband, Dewey, of St. Charles, MO and Lynn Goff and her husband, Darrell, of Winfield; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He also leaves other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
