Obituary of David William Simpson

Funeral services for David William Simpson of Winfield, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Mike Ryan, pastor of the Winfield First Baptist Church, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. David, 9, passed away Wednesday morning, November 21, 2012 at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Born April 28, 2003 in St. Peters, MO, he was the son of David Dewayne and Angela Diane Biener Simpson. David was a 3rd Grade student at Winfield Elementary School in Winfield. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Dick Simpson and Sigmund Biener Survivors include his parents: Dewayne and Angie Simpson of Winfield; and his sister, Dana Michelle Simpson of the home in Winfield. He also leaves his paternal grandparents: John and Debbie Hubbard of Winfield, his maternal grandmother, Sue Ecton and her husband, Jim, of Omaha, Nebraska; his paternal great-grandmother, Mildred Simpson of Winfield, his maternal great-grandmother, Suzy Biener of Melbourne Beach, Florida; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Memorials may be made to the Family of David W.
