Chuck was one of my encouragers as I completed a ministry degree at St. Louis Christian College and as I began doing ministry work. He made introductions that were important to getting started in pulpit supply. He attended the first sermon I preached. He went with me to call on people throughout Foley, or perhaps I went with him. He was always ready to help with any ministry work that needed done. There was no doubt about his passion for Jesus and his desire to take the word to others. His actions were focused on evangelism and the church, never on selfish ambitions. It seems the words, well done, are well deserved.
I am thankful that he was my friend. His ministry efforts and his friendship will be missed.
