Obituary of Deborah Lynn Jones

Funeral services for Deborah Lynn Jones of Winfield, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Interment will be in Elsberry City Cemetery near Elsberry, MO. Mrs. Jones, 58, passed away Saturday morning, March 22, 2014 at her home. Born January 8, 1956 in Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Eugene John and Lida Mae Brown Bray. She was united in marriage on May 19, 1999 in Winfield to Sherman "Shorty" Jones. She worked in Quality Control for Continental Sprayers, retiring in 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Lida Bray; and one brother, Ricky Bray. Survivors include her beloved husband of nearly 15 years, Shorty Jones of Winfield; two sons: Shaun Day and his companion, Cindy Forrest, of Warrenton, MO and Allen Halcomb, also of Warrenton; one daughter, Sandy Coleman of Collinsville, IL; and six grandchildren: Christian, Nicholas, Emily, Nick, Michelle and Zoey. She also leaves one brother, Dennis Bray of Elsberry; one sister, Karen Rockers of Winfield; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
