Richard Stephen Burkemper A graveside inurnment for Richard Stephen Burkemper of Wildwood, MO will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Highland Prairie Cemetery in Old Monroe, MO. J. Larry Carter of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO will officiate. Mr. Burkemper, 67, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at his home. Born May 4, 1945 in St. Charles, MO he was the son of Clement Stephen and Dorothy Laudell Burkemper. He worked for many years as an aviation mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clement and Dorothy Burkemper; one son, Bradley Stephen Burkemper in 2008; and four first cousins: Jean Theresa Burkemper, Gerald A. Burkemper, Shirley A. (Burkemper) Leiling and Wayne W. Burkemper. Survivors include eleven first cousins: Donald A. Burkemper, Mary Laverne Burkemper, Joan Veranda Burkemper, Vernon W. Burkemper, Ellen L. (Stork) Harbaugh, Mary Lou I. (Stork) Fitzgerald, Roy H. Stork, Ronald O. Gnade, Russell J. Gnade, Kenneth C. Gnade and Linda M. Herbert. He also leaves other relatives and friends.
