Walderine "Rene" Beauchamp Graveside services for Walderine "Rene" Beauchamp of Clarksville, MO, formerly of Elsberry, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2010 at Elsberry City Cemetery. Rev. Paul Garven, pastor of Elsberry United Methodist Church, will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be William B. Brown, C. Christopher Brown, Joseph Clark, Mark A. Clark, Adam Beauchamp, Jerry R. Ellis and William M. Beauchamp. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Melissa M. Beauchamp. Mrs. Beauchamp, 90, passed away Monday afternoon, March 29, 2010 at the Elsberry Health Care Center. Born November 12, 1919 in Greenwood, MS, she was the daughter of Louis B. and Vannie Suddarth Henderson. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School. She was united in marriage on August 1, 1939 in Indianola, MS to Stanley Wendell "Dutch" Beauchamp. The Beauchamps moved to Elsberry in 1943. While in Elsberry, she was a member of the Elsberry United Methodist Church, a member and president of the Wesleyan Service Guild, a member and president of the DNC club and a secretary and treasurer of the Park Board. After moving to Clarksville in 1981, she was a member and president of the Clarksville Garden Club. She was a lifelong member of the bridge clubs of both Elsberry and Clarksville and she loved entertaining her guests. She most recently lived with her nephew, David Beauchamp and his family in Clarksville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Vannie Henderson; her brother, L.B. Henderson; her sister, Louise Henderson Nazarian; an infant brother and sister; and her beloved husband of 58 years, Stanley "Dutch" Beauchamp. Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Faye Renee Thomas of Merritt Island, FL and David Beauchamp, his wife, Myra, and their children, Brittnye and Adam of Clarksville, MO; several other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2010 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
