Michael Schnettgoecke Funeral Services for Michael Henry Schnettgoecke of Moscow Mills, MO will be at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Michael, 44, passed away Tuesday morning, March 5, 2024 at his home. Born February 8, 1980 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of George Schnettgoecke and Caron Compton Ritchie. Mike was a member of Painters Union Local #1158 in St. Louis, MO. He was amazing father and hard worker. When he wasn’t spending time with his family, he enjoyed being a brew master. Mike liked karaoke and was quick with a joke and in a light of your smoke. Mike was preceded in death by his father, George Schnettgoecke. Survivors include his fiancé, Crystal Preston of Moscow Mills; seven children: Ronald Schnettgoecke and his wife, Abbie, of Iowa City, IA, Ciera Schnettgoecke and her fiancé, Bryan Hamilton, of Winfield, Destiny Schnettgoecke of Moscow Mills, Skylar Schnettgoecke of Moscow Mills, Matthew Preston of Moscow Mills, Allison Preston of Moscow Mills and Harlow Schnettgoecke of Moscow Mills; one grandson, Jonah and one more on the way. Mike also leaves his mother, Caron Ritchie and her husband, Terry, of Troy, MO; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Compton of Wright City, MO; one brother, Brian Trail and his wife, Janet, of Wentzville, MO; two sisters: Stacy Borgmann of Warrenton, MO and Leticia Schnettgoecke of Foley, MO; two uncles: Wendell Compton of Wright City and Jim Schnettgoecke of Foley; one aunt, Mindy Schrader of Wright City; many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until time of the Service at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
