Obituary of David Lee Rothermich

David Lee Rothermich, 61, of Moscow Mills, MO, passed away early Monday morning, January 15, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Lincoln in Troy, MO. Born April 5, 1962 in Bedford, MO, he was the son of Charles Joseph and Margaret Mary Huellewig Rohtermich. Dave was united in marriage on April 25, 1986 in St. Paul, MO to Deborah Katherine Dill. Dave was a carpenter for Freise Construction, retiring in 2013 after 25 years of employment. He loved to hunt and take care of animals. Dave had a passion for woodworking and was known for making many pieces of furniture and other creations. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margaret Rothermich; his mother-in-law, Mary Dill; two brothers-in-law: Denny Rau and Richard Dill, Jr.; and one sister-in-law, Jeanne Rothermich. Survivors include beloved wife, Deb Rothermich of Moscow Mills; and his father-in-law, Richard Dill of St. Peters, MO. Dave also leaves two brothers: Jerry Rothermich of Wentzville, MO and Don Rothermich and his wife, Rhonda, of Foristell, MO; two sisters: Linda Rau of St. Charles, MO and Mary Pieper and her husband, Gary, of O’Fallon, MO; one brother-in-law, Ron Dill and his wife, Mary Ellen of Weldon Spring, MO; many niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.
