Obituary of Terry Dwane Collins

Funeral Services for Terry Dwane Collins of Elsberry, MO will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Larry Gallaher, pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church near Foley, MO will officiate with burial in Bethany Cemetery near Foley. Terry, 73, passed away Monday afternoon, September 11, 2023 at Maple Grove Lodge in Louisiana, MO. Born January 22, 1950 in Foley, he was the son of William Merrill and Lula Mae Bufford Collins. Terry was a 1968 graduate of Winfield High School. He was united in marriage on April 12, 2004 in Troy, MO to Betty Lee Malone. Terry worked on the Quality Production Team for Bodine Aluminum, retiring in 2015. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lula Collins; one brother, Lindell Collins in 2005; and an infant sister, Sharon Lorene Collins. Survivors include his beloved wife of 19 years, Betty Collins of Louisiana; his children: Jolene Schneider and her husband, Justin, of Troy and Russell William Collins and his wife, Kendra, of Silex, MO; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Terry also leaves one sister, Charlotte Crenshaw and her husband, Jim, of Winfield; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home.
