Obituary of Cloy Brent Houser

Funeral Services for Cloy Brent Houser of Foley, MO will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Sammy Lorton, pastor of Whiteside Holiness Church in Whiteside, MO will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Sean Viernum, Jimmy Vratney, Don Nealy, Bobby Thacker, Dennis Knox and Jeff Chier. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Houser, Darrel Biggerstaff, Wade Jones and Darrell Dillon. Brent, 56, passed away Sunday evening, August 27, 2023 in Troy. Born September 5, 1966 in Abilene, TX, he was the son of Terry Lee and Joyce Fay Goodman Houser. Brent was a 1983 graduate of Eureka High School. He worked as a mechanic for Falls Golf Club in O’Fallon, MO. He was preceded in death by one sister, Terri Lynn Blank; and one brother, Theadore Brice Houser. Survivors include his children: Jeremy Houser and Megan Houser; and his parents, Joyce and Terry Houser of O’Fallon. Brent also leaves his significant other, Judith Nealy of Troy, MO; one sister, Lisa Viernum and her husband, Sean, of Centralia, IL; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home.
