Obituary of Beverly Jean Dickmeyer

Memorial Services for Beverly Jean “Bev” Dickmeyer of Winfield, MO will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield. Please honor Bev’s love and commitment for the Winfield Warriors and wear your best spirit gear. Inurnment will be at a later date in Whispering Winds Cemetery. Bev, 67, was born October 11, 1955 in Troy, MO, she was the daughter of Joseph and Norma Lee Langston Moore. She was united in marriage on February 12, 1972 in St. Charles, MO to James J. Dickmeyer. This union was blessed with two sons: Christopher and Kevin. Bev worked for the Winfield R-IV School District as a custodian for a number of years. She returned after retirement as a bus monitor until her health no longer permitted her to do so. In addition, Bev proudly served as Alderwoman for the City of Winfield for many years. Bev enjoyed playing BINGO, going to the casino and collecting arrowheads. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Norma Moore; and her grandparents, Hoyd and Audre Langston. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Jim Dickmeyer of Winfield; their sons: Chris Dickmeyer and his husband, Bobby Roskowske, of Winfield and Kevin Dickmeyer, also of Winfield. Bev also leaves two brothers: Randy Moore and his wife, Karen, of St. Peters, MO and David Moore of Columbia, MO; several nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
